Passage: Philippians Phil. 4:4-9

Worry and anxiety have become normal parts of life for many people. We often feel pressure about money, family, the future, work, and relationships. But in Philippians 4, Paul reminds us that peace is not found by ignoring problems or pretending everything is fine. Peace grows as we practice our faith daily. Worship, prayer, gratitude, right thinking, and obedience help us stay connected to God. The goal is not to carry no responsibility, but to remember that God is ultimately in control. As we walk closely with Him, His peace guards our hearts and minds.

Practice These Things

Text: Philippians 4:4-9

The feeling of anxiousness, the emotion of worry, is  in our country.

The answer to worry isn’t .

The practice of our faith produces .

Regular, daily practice of our faith draws us close to .

When Jesus invited us to Himself, He didn’t invite us to a life of spiritual irresponsibility in the name of faith. He didn’t invite us to .  He invited us to practice. (Matthew 6:25-33; 11:28-30)

When we are living in worry, then what we are tending to  is that life is about me and the results of life are ultimately up to me.

The invitation of God isn’t to shirk all responsibility but to make sure in the midst of being responsible I know that   responsibility belongs to God. (1 Corinthians 3:6-9)

Worry tends to begin to creep in when I put myself in the role of , and I take on responsibilities that are His alone to take.

Worry  as I think rightly about God AND about myself.
